Residents Claim To Be "In It For The Long Haul" Backed by local and state officials, residents of Delaware County in Southeastern Pennsylvania are gearing up for a huge fight with the FAA over plans to reroute Eastern Seaboard traffic over their houses.

Pilot Did Not Eject Before Plane Impacted Homes ANN REALTIME REPORTING 07.16.06 2115 EDT: A vintage fighter plane, believed to be a Hawker Hunter participating in the Hillsboro Air Show near Portland, OR, went down late Sunday afternoon, crashing into three homes and sparking a large fire that forced emergency officials to evacuate a 10-block radius around the crash site.
