DON'T buy this if you want to listen to it on your computer / 3
I enjoy Chris' music quite a bit. I won't pretend to be a music critic but his music is simply excellent.

But there's a problem with this CD. When I try to listen to it on my computer, it launches a music video that takes over my screen entirely. You can't listen to the normal songs on the CD. If you try to go back to the work that you were doing before you put the CD in the drive, then the Chris Rice video stops.

That's right, you have no choice but stopping whatever work you were doing and watching the Chris Rice video. You can't just listen to the music while you do your work.

Maybe this is some kind of reaction to copyright infringement. I think it's a shame. I'd be surprised if it were Chris' idea.

But when I listen to it in my car or living room stereo, it's a great CD ! I do wish that Chris would put more new songs on each CD though. Many of these are repeats.

Song "Clumsy"
You thing I'd have it down by now

Been practicin' for thirty years

I should have walked a thousand miles

So what am I still doin' here

Reachin' out for that same old piece of forbidden fruit

I slip and fall and I knock my halo loose

Somebody tell me what's a boy supposed to do?

Chorus

Cause I get so clumsy

I get so foolish

I get so stupid

And then I feel so useless

But you're sayin' You love me

And you're still gonna hold me

And that You wanna be near me

'Cause You're makin' me holy

You're still makin' me holy, yeah

I'm gonna get it right this time

I'll be strong and I'll make You proud

I've prayed that prayer a thousand times

But the rooster crows and my tears roll down (again)

Then You remind me You made me from the dust

And I can never, no never, be good enough

And that You're not gonna let that come between us

Chorus

From where I stand

Your holiness is up so high I can never reach it

My only hope is to fall on Jesus

Concert series' first notes ring (Louisville Courier-Journal)
The steamy weather didn't prevent anyone from having a ball at Louisville's first Music in the Metro concert of the season last night in Des Pres Park. After welcoming the crowd and introducing Karen Kraft & Kiks, the featured musical act, Mayor Abramson handed out thick cardboard fans to attendees.
Rhythm: There's something for everyone at county fair (Wisconsin State Journal)
If wild Tilt-a-Whirl rides, greasy (yet delicious) cheese curds and fine-groomed horses form part of the Dane County Fair's core, the event's annual rotating live entertainment give it personality.
Rhythm: Coming Attractions (Wisconsin State Journal)
The coming attractions list is reserved for concerts and events as space allows . Go to http://www.ticketmaster.com for ticket information on many shows listed.
