Piercing The Darkness, by Frank Peretti, was one of the first fictional christian books that I ever read, and it’s still at the top of my favorites list today.
Whether or not you agree with Mr. Peretti’s version of the goings-on in the spiritual realm - battles between angels and demons, etc. - you’ll love this captivating, action-adventure told from the Christian perspective. The characters are very well-developed, and all too human at times. But of course that’s what makes them so easy to relate to and identify with.
